Front Entry Walks

The walk leading to your front door sets expectations for everything behind it. We clean the full width including the shaded edges where growth starts, and we work the seams where the walkway meets the driveway, the porch, and the landscaping. When a front walk is cleaned properly, the improvement is visible from the curb.

Brick and Paver Pathways

Brick and paver paths have far more joint length per square foot than poured concrete, and joints are where moss and weeds establish themselves. Our approach cleans the face of each unit and clears the joint lines while leaving the setting bed intact. Aggressive washing that scours out all the joint sand causes shifting and settling later, so we deliberately avoid it.

Stamped and Decorative Concrete

Stamped concrete, exposed aggregate, and colored finishes have surface treatments that careless pressure washing will strip or blotch. These surfaces get a gentler technique and a consistent distance from the surface, protecting the color hardener and the release agent that give the finish its depth. Detail and texture come back rather than washing out.

Moss, Algae, and Slick Spots

Around Chico & Paradise, shaded walkways under mature trees or along the north side of a house grow a slick biological film through the wet months. It is easy to underestimate until someone slips on it. We treat the growth chemically rather than trying to grind it off, which both clears it more completely and slows how quickly it comes back.

Steps, Landings, and Thresholds

Steps demand extra attention because they combine everything difficult about walkway cleaning. Treads hold standing water, risers collect splash back and mud, and corners trap debris the eye skips over. These are also the highest risk areas for a fall, so we clean each tread and riser individually instead of running water down the flight and calling it done.

Surrounding Landscaping and Cleanup

Walkways run directly through planting beds, lawn edges, and irrigation, all of which we protect before starting. Beds are pre wet, runoff is directed away from vulnerable plants, and displaced debris is cleared rather than left in the mulch. When we pull out, the path is clean and the area around it looks undisturbed.
